, Eric “Tofu” Engel, reported that his team was performing poorly because of lack of self-belief and the difficulty that came with adapting to a new roster.
He said this during an interview at PGL Wallachia 3.
“Definitely better than the previous one. I think we were spiraling down for a while due to some issues, like low confidence. We also had difficulties because of the roster change. But overall, I think things are better now”
Tofu acknowledged that there were indeed more problems than just lack of self-belief and post roster change struggles. He focused on envisioning the issue with confidence after the team acquired Watson and how it hurt GG’s performance.

The player reiterated, though, that the balance under which Gaimin Gladiators was operating with has become much more stable. As a consequence, the team’s results in professional Dota 2 over the past few months have greatly improved.
