Cr1t explained why Team Falcons are no longer winning tournaments

Andreas “Cr1t” Nielsen, a Team Falcons support, said that his squad won tournaments because everyone else played mediocre, and now the opposing teams are stronger and their form has sagged.
The cyber sportsman revealed this during an interview at PGL Wallachia Season 4.
“A big part of our success in 2024 is that all the opponents have been mediocre. It was like there weren’t any good teams on Inte and Riyadh. In 2025, there’s more competition. All the teams are very good with a built up structure. It’s not easy to win tournaments now”
The pro player noted that in 2024, most of the opponents were not too strong, which is why Team Falcons dominated the pro scene. However, Cr1t emphasized that things have changed now and also the squad’s level of play has sagged.
“Our level of play has also sagged. We need to get used to the fact that there are still other teams we need to beat. We need to find ourselves again and get back to where we were in 2024. Our team is striving for that”
The cybersportsman noted that Team Falcons need to adapt to the new realities of the pro scene, as well as to tighten their level of performance to start winning Dota 2 tournaments again.
Earlier, the captain of Team Falcons first commented on the rumors about Malr1ne replacing Quinn.
